A high school math teacher in Georgia was arrested earlier this week allegedly for having sex with seven students. DaNita Wilson, 32, was charged with seven counts of sexual assault. Six students were aged 16, which is the age of consent in Georgia, while one was under 16.
The Charlton County High School learnt about their teacher’s misconduct from an anonymous source who claimed the relationships had been going on for “one year or longer.” Wilson, who is married with two children, has been suspended from all school activities and sent to jail on Tuesday. She was released on a $35,000 bond
Wilson risks up to 50 years in jail for having sex with the under 16 student. County schools Superintendent John Lairsey said all seven students attended Charlton Couny High School.
