SEATTLE, UNITED STATES – Amanda Knox might be tried again back in Italy. Amanda Knox‘s lawyer said she is feeling very anxious awaiting to hear the verdict of Italy’s supreme court after hearing from prosecutors appealing the acquittal of the murder of the British student Meredith Kercher, who was killed back in 2007.
Prosecutors asserted that Amanda Knox and her former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito might be tried again. Meredith Kercher was found dead back in November 2007 in her flat that she shared with Amanda Knox and two other women. This is what Amanda Knox’s lawyer, Luciano Ghirga, said: ‘[Knox] is carefully paying attention to what will come out. This is a fundamental stage. The trial is very complex.’
Both Raffaele Sollecito lawyer, Giulia Bongiorno, and Amanda Knox‘s lawyer Luciano Ghirga, said: ‘There seems to be very little criticism of the technical aspects of the trial. We have a verdict behind us that is so well-grounded, coherent and logical that we’re very calm.’
