Speaking before the House of Lords, British ex-Defense Minister Lord Gilbert said the only way to put and end to the conflict between India and Pakistan was to bomb them with a neutron bomb. Lord Gilbert made the comment during a debate over getting rid of nuclear bombs across the world. The Lord said the border between the two countries could be bombed because no humans live there. “Your Lordships may say that this is impractical, but nobody lives up in the mountains on the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan except for a few goats and a handful of people herding them,” Lord Gilbert said.
