The BBC had to issue an apology on Sunday morning after a character on its children TV show CBeebies resembled paedophile Jimmy Savile. Max, the CBeebies character, was wearing a blonde wig and gold necklaces enraging many parents. The TV show features a chart countdown like the Top Of The Pops show Savile used to host.
