Noel Alba, a 37-year-old woman form New York, allegedly set up a fake charity in the wake of the Sandy Hook mass shooting. The woman posed as the sister of one of the shooting victims to raise funds for her fake brother’s funeral. As Jezebel reports, the online scam was revealed after a man who wanted to make a contribution wasn’t given additional information. FBI authorities arrested and charged Alba with lying. Adam Lanza killed 20 children and six adults on December 14.
