In 1991 Nirvana erupted on the global music scene with a hit single that changed the music industry. The song was grunge-hymn Smells like Tenn Spirit and in this video Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl play the song live for the first time ever. As Gizmodo reports, it was a song that “killed off hair metal” and sent the music industry towards an “entirely new direction”.
