A fight broke out in the Venezuelan parliament on Tuesday when members of the opposition where protesting against a measure that doesn’t allow them to speak in the National Assembly.
Seven members of the opposition led by 40-year-old Henrique Capriles claim they were attacked by members of the ruling party led by Nicolás Maduro. Government lawmakers instead blamed their ‘fascist’ rivals for the brawl. “We knew the opposition came to provoke violence,” said the 50-year-old leader. “This must not be repeated.”
