A man fished a monster with razor-sharp teeth while fishing in a New Jersy river. The giant fish was caught by Doug Cutler in the waters of the Garden State two summers ago. He recently posted the snaps of his catch on Reddit and they became the talk of the web within moments.
The snaps have been viewed over a million times but mystery still surrounds the identity of the fish, reports NY Daily News.
Based on “size alone” scientists at Outdoor magazine believe the monster is a sea lamprey. However, the photo doesn’t “allow counting of gill openings,” which are seven on either side of a sea lamprey, a spokeswoman for a New York Department of Environmental Conservation said.
