BOSTON, United States - Rolling Stone front cover featuring Boston Bomber Dzkhar Tsarnaev has caused quite a stir. The cover photo for the magazine’s latest issue has upset the families of the victims and sparked irate comments on social media.
According to CBS Boston, some stores won’t be selling this month’s issue out of respect for the Boston martathon runners that suffered injuries in the attack. Rolling Stone editors released a statement following the outrage sparked by the magazine’s front cover. It said:
The fact that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is young, and in the same age group as many of our readers, makes it all the more important for us to examine the complexities of this issue and gain a more complete understanding of how a tragedy like this happens. –THE EDITORS
