RIO DE JANEIRO, BRASIL – A tortoise had been discovered 30 years later she went missing in a locked store room. Manuela, the tortoise, disappeared from her house in Rio De Janeiro in 1982.
There was no way finding the tortoise and even a long search took place after she went missing. The owners, family Almeida, thought she had run away because the builders working on the house left the door open.
After the death of their father Leonel, Almeida children decided to clea the locked store room and found the tortoise that seemingly survived for 30 years by eating termites from the wooden floors.
