Stonehenge seeks a manager to speak to Druids for a wage of £65,000 per year. There is a vacancy for a general manager who will be willing to take up the job to keep the “dignity of the stones” and meet up with Druids leaders and other members of the community to talk to them once a year when they visit

The bosses at Stonehenge already stated that the application process will be very selective and they only want the “brighest and best” for such job. This is what Tim Reeve, English Heritage’s historic properties director, said: “You could be up at the stones one minute, in outdoor garb trying to help visitors, then you can be back in a state-of-the-art visitors’ centre. The next time you could be in a suit, representing our site.”

Then he continued underlying the importance of keeping the dignity of stones: ‘It is also important to ensure we keep dignity for the stones. This year marks a new dawn for Stonehenge.’

The deadline for the application is May 5 2013 and you can apply here
