Blonde albino penguin spotted near Antarctica

On a trip to Antarctica the naturalist David Stephens spotted a blond penguin at the edge of the South Shetland Islands, reports global animal. The leucistic Chinstarp penguin, not quite an albino, has “pigmented eyes and a washed-out version of a Chinstrap’s normal pattern.”  A leucistic penguin has a reduced level of pigmentation compared to an albino.
